Hunter's 12th Birthday

Today was an action packed day for Hunter. We were going to go to Las Vegas but Kaden got injured in his last football game and couldn't travel for a long period of time.
I decided to take Hunter to Provo. Hunter decided to invite a friend.
We had his favorite breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast. We went to Karen and Ranell's (Grandma and Grandpa) and he got spoiled with some money from the Grandparents and Melinda. The money was burning a hole in his pocket so we went to the mall and did a little shopping.
He is a funny kid and all he wanted some new church clothes. Since he turned 12 and is able to pass the sacrament in church he needed a white shirt and a tie. The tie was a strange pick, as you can see, he picked a University of Utah one....hehe!!!
We went to Panda for lunch and Colton and Hunter went to the movie "9". After the movie we went and got ice cream at "Sub Zero".
We came home after that. We really had a good day!!!!

Jenna's Big 21st Birthday

Well I wont reminisce about Jenna's birth, it was pretty uneventful. All the important people in my life were there except my mother who was up at Ava's at the time.....(she missed all of my kids birth).
For her birthday, Jenna and I went to lunch and a movie. We had a pretty good time.

Kaden's Birthday

Today is Kaden's 14th birthday.....I can't believe that he is growing up so fast.
He is in the middle of baseball season and so for his birthday all he wanted was baseball stuff. Not very exciting for me but it is for him. We got him the bat of his dreams, a bat bag, took him to lunch and made a special dinner for him.
He is a funny kid.
I remember the day he was born, well the night......my mom and dad were on a mission for the LDS church, serving in England. We were living in their house in Leamington. They were coming home in 3 weeks and I sure wanted to be able to go to the airport and pick them up. I begged the doctor to do something and well he did. I won't go into great detail, but I will tell you I didn't feel very well afterwards. I stayed in Delta that night and started contracting. Eric was working in Provo and had to work the next day and so at 0100 I called him and told him we were having a baby and he needed to come down.....he is like tonight? I have to work in the morning.....finally when he woke up and thought about it he came down. I was laboring along and got to a 6 when all hell broke loose. Kaden's heart rate went into the 50's. He was stuck and couldn't advance. They started calling for the surgery crew....my little guy wasn't doing very well, his heart rate wouldn't recover......I had an emergency C-section in no time flat. I am so grateful for the doctors and the nurses....mostly the nurses that were taking care of me that night and were smart enough to spot the dangers in what was happening. Being in the medical field now, I understand. I don't think that my Kaden would be here....so to make a long story shorter.... all went well. Recovery time was longer and I got to see my parents come off the plane. Good memories.....

Hunter's May Day Celebration

Our last May Day......Hunter graduated from Elementry and is now going to Middle School.....I can't believe that my baby is in Middle School!!!!!

Tonight was the Prom for Devon. He asked his friend Alyssia Reid to go. They had a good time going bowling and out to eat. They were going to go to a concert but she wasn't able to.

The dance was fun...I got to do the honors of dancing with Devon. He was really embarrassed. I tried to have him twirl me around but he wouldn't do that...I couldn't understand why....

He had a good time. I guess since he had fun at his own prom, he is going to take 2 other girls to their prom. One dance is in Payson and the other is in Salt Lake....
